I'm doing a project where i have to research a country and stuff and i have to cook and bring in food for my class. Obviously the country i chose is Germany. Does anyone know any really good german food that will make everyone explode with good feelings of taste? It needs to be able to feed 20 kids. No alcohol or fish. Its due in 4 days so please no week long recipies. THANKSSS

Sauerbraten is my favourite German dish... but it involves cooking a beef or veal roast. Which is not cheap. Most recipes are pretty extensive, but you can buy seasoning packets in the grocery store (in the international isle) making it extremely easy.

You could also make spaetzle, a type of dumpling. Just use a cheese grater instead of a 'spaetzle maker'.

Although originally thought to be Austrian, Wiener Schnitzels are a great German dish. Easy to do and very satisfying.

This is very easy and would be easy to make for a large number of people: http://www.food.com/recipe/quick-simple-curry-wurst-currywurst-sauce-for-brats-417634

This is what I eat every time I go to the German Fischer-Fest :)

Take wheat flour, eggs, water, salt and cheese. You could need some more stuff, like butter, onions, ham...
